Is it free to vote?
Yes. Creating a user account costs nothing. Every verified voter receives equal voting power, and no one can purchase additional influence.
How are stories selected for the vote?
Scripts first pass Indy's screening and professional review process. The strongest projects are selected as finalists and transformed into teasers for the audience.
Why do I vote on a teaser instead of reading the script?
A teaser lets you see the story's tone, characters and potential while keeping the writer's complete screenplay protected.
How does voting work?
Each genre has its own competition. Watch the finalists, choose the stories you most want to see produced and submit your selections before the season closes. Every genre will have 5 finalists; voters can select up to three, in order of preference.
How is voting protected?
Voting requires a verified account, and every account receives the same voting power. Indy monitors suspicious or coordinated activity and may remove fraudulent votes.
What happens after a story wins?
Winning projects move into full production. Audience members can follow their progress and receive updates when the finished production is released.
When can I watch the finished films?
Production begins after the season closes and the winners are confirmed. Release timing will vary by project, but voters will be able to follow the journey through different stages: casting, preproduction, production, post production, and release date.
Is Indy crowdfunding these productions?
No. Your vote helps determine what gets made, but audience members are not being asked to finance the production.
Will I have to pay to watch the finished productions?
Voting is free. Finished films and series will be available through Indy Streaming, with viewing and subscription details announced as the platform expands.
